Mature Shiraz from Australia. Very dark and brilliant color, despite the age, which let assume a lot of matter in the glass.
Clean and intense nose of blue and blackberry jam, licorice and damp earth. In the mouth it keeps it promises. Continue reading “Clarendon Hills Moritz 2003”
I’ve been looking forward to trying a bottle of this highly praised wine for a few years.
On the nose, the wood and the alcohol dominate the fruit. Some eucalyptus’ notes, but not much complexity. After a while more fruit shows up, but it soon fades away.
At first no much sensations, neither on the nose nor in the mouth. After some time it opens up and delivers some strawberries notes.
