From Black to White 2021

The colour is medium straw. On the nose acacia, Golden apple, pine, mint, and elderflower. In the mouth this wine displays a vibrant acidity. The aftertaste is very long but a bit bitter.

This white wine is made by Zýmē with 60% Rondinella Bianca, 15% Gold Traminer, 15% Kerner, 10% Incrocio Manzoni grapes. Continue reading “From Black to White 2021”

Château Brane-Cantenac 2009

The colour is deep garnet. On the nose black cherries and plums, interwoven with notes of mocha, tobacco leaf and cedar. In the mouth savoury and balanced. The tannins are refined and well-integrated, providing structure without aggression. The finish is slightly bitter. The aftertaste pleasant and medium-long.

This 2ème Cru Classé Bordeaux wine is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26.5% Merlot and 3.5% Cabernet Franc grapes. Continue reading “Château Brane-Cantenac 2009”

Enfant de la Montagne

The colour is pale copper, with delicate and persistent bubbles. On the nose notes of grapefruit, green apple and pear. In the mouth lively and crisp. The finish is savoury and fairly long.

Crafted in Chamery, heart of the Montagne de Reims, this cuvée is a beautiful example of artisanal Champagne. The winery was founded in 1980 by Chantal Delespierre and Didier Bertrand.
