This wine displays a pale salmon colour. On the nose cantaloupe, watermelon and pears, among other fruits, can be detected. In the mouth refreshing, with a medium acidity and a pleasant taste that stays for a short while. Although it doesn’t give any revealing sensations, this wine is well balanced and definitely an enjoyable summer drink.
On the nose at first animal, meaty, dark chocolate and moca sensations dominates. After some exposure to air, the aroma becomes more fruity, with blueberries and dark cherries coming on stage.
On the nose blueberries and mulberries, with the addition of a spicy accent. In the mouth smooth and well balanced, with a drying finish and an aftertaste that last long enough. It somehow reminds me of an Aglianico del Vulture I reviewed some time ago.
On the nose black cherries, liquorice and black pepper, which gives a slightly prickly sensation. In the moth well balanced and consistent with the nose. Fairly long finish, but lighter than expected, with an earthy character.

This Languedoc wine made with 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Grenache grapes is dominated by a meaty, wild game aroma. In the mouth, it tends to lack matter. Although rather light, it is pretty pleasant. On the finish a bit bitter, but fairly long. Well present tannins, which is a characteristic of the grape.
The brilliant color strongly recalls black cherries.
On the nose a bit closed. Elegant and silky texture in the mouth. Discrete and well-rounded tannins. A little disappointing on the final, due to a slightly harsh finish. Not much persistence beside the alcohol’s feeling, that, despite being a high 15%, surprisingly show up only in the aftertaste.
Elegant and well balanced, as the name let you expect. On the nose red fruits, with some spicy notes. In the mouth discrete, with a pleasant acidity that follows you in the aftertaste. The high alcohol content (15%) gets completely undetected, both on the nose and in the mouth. One more sign of a well achieved equilibrium.
