The colour is deep ruby. On the nose blueberry, blackberry, prune and some liquorice. In the mouth delicate and fresh. The aftertaste is rather short.

The colour is medium gold. On the nose mango, peach and apple. In the mouth distinctly sapid. The aftertaste is medium long.

The colour is pale straw. The bubbles are very similar to the ones of Ferrarelle, an Italian naturally sparkling mineral water. On the nose some green apples, but not much and not much else. In the mouth refreshing, but neither particularly pleasant nor persistent. Continue reading “Nudo Eroico”
The colour is deep ruby, almost black. On the nose menthol, burnt wood, iron, mushrooms, fig, blackberries. In the mouth a solid structure, with well present tannins and a medium acidity. The aftertaste is fairly long and pleasant.

On the nose mainly tropical fruits, like ananas, and citrus, with some spicy undertones. Somehow it also reminds me of the Narghilè I used to smoke while travelling in the Middle East. In the mouth less fresh and rich than you would expect from the nose. Rather lean and without much of neither finish nor aftertaste. Lean and clean nose, with hints of fresh green foliage. In the mouth, crispy and mineral, with a finish dominated by citrus fruits that last through a fairly long aftertaste.

Very pleasant citrusy nose, accompanied by nutty notes. It reminds me of a weird mix of lemon and peanuts.
In the mouth, as pleasant as on the nose. Well balanced and with, for my taste, just the right amount of freshness. On the nose, an aroma market by citrus fruits, floral and mineral flavours.

On the nose a nice aroma of ripe/under spirit fruits, complemented by herbs, liquorice and tobacco notes. In the mouth a bit rough, due to the prickly tannins. Deep ruby red to the eyes. Rich, ripe and intense on the nose, with notes of black berries and spices. Nice and fascinating complexity, with the fruit that keeps hiding and showing up discretely. In the mouth elegant, but less filling than you could expect. Earthy, mineral sensations dominate. Firm yet rounded tannins and nice acidity. The aftertaste gets a bit cut off.
