The colour is pale straw. On the nose passion fruit, grapefruit, mineral notes and green bell pepper. In the mouth very fresh. The aftertaste has a savour of lime and is medium long.

Some are over 200 years old, and many are exclusive to the islands: there are 20 recognized unique grape varieties.
