Golden color, very bright and less dark than you would expect from a 10 years old white. Slightly oxidised, but again less than you would expect given the age.

Chateau Musar 2009

Olfactory the first impression is of tea with a hint of mint. After swirling, the smell turns earthy and meaty, with fruity aromas in the background. Some more air and the sensations change again and become more subtle.

Chateau de Vaudieu 2012

On the nose a bit closed. Elegant and silky texture in the mouth. Discrete and well-rounded tannins. A little disappointing on the final, due to a slightly harsh finish.
