This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is made with 85% Prugnolo Gentile, 8% Colore, 5% Canaiolo and 2% Mammolo grapes.

Lucente is made by Frescobaldi at its Tenuta Luce in Montalcino. It is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, which prevails in the blend.

The colour is medium garnet. On the nose plums, blueberries, black cherries, chocolate. In the mouth gripping tannins and bright acidity. The aftertaste is bitter and rather short.
