The nose is dominated by an aroma of apricot. In the mouth the wine displays a velvety texture and a light, but fairly long, aftertaste of the same sweet apricot first perceived on the nose.

On the nose, subtle flavour of yellow fruits, like peach and ananas, vegetal notes and flint scent. In the mouth, some more freshness would be welcomed. The experience finishes on a slightly bitter note, which accompanies the aftertaste as well.
Very pleasant citrusy nose, accompanied by nutty notes. It reminds me of a weird mix of lemon and peanuts.
On the nose delicately perfumed, mineral-rich with citrus and herbal accents. In the mouth as elegant as on the nose, with a soft acidity and a clean, fairly long, finish. The wine has probably been enriched by the prolonged lees contact.
On the nose, an aroma market by citrus fruits, floral and mineral flavours.
On the nose nutty flavours, with notes of lemon and melon, accompanied by some smoky sensations. Almost oily mouthfeel, balanced by minerality more than acidity. Once swollen, at first not much. It gets better with successive sips, but nothing special, beside the pleasant mineral mouthfeel.
Not everybody may be aware of the fact that this well-known Château also produce a white wine. The only one among the four Médoc’s Premier Crus.
Amigne is a very old variety and is thought to have been introduced into the Alps by the Romans. It is one of the many indigenous grape varieties of the Valais region of Switzerland.
Golden color, very bright and less dark than you would expect from a 10 years old white. Slightly oxidised, but again less than you would expect given the age.
A refreshing white wine made with Petit and Gros Manseng grapes cultivated in one of the smallest AOC of France, around the town of Irouléguy, in the basque area of France (close to the border with Spain).
