The colour is medium ruby. On the nose plumbs, sour cherries, mirth, grass, wood and beeswax. In the mouth well balanced, soft and pleasantly fruity. The aftertaste is medium long.
Korem is made in Sardinia by Argiolas.

The colour is medium copper. A bit cloudy. On the nose candied citrus-fruits, strawberries, mango, orange marmalade and resin. In the mouth fresh and surprisingly tannic for a white wine. It leaves a drying sensation. The aftertaste is medium long. This wine is very peculiar.
Ograde is an orange wine made with each 25% Vitoska, Malvasia, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio grapes. Continue reading “Ograde 2019”
The colour is medium ruby. On the nose cherries, blackberries and some toasted notes. In the mouth rather light and thin, but refreshing. The alcohol is a bit too high. The aftertaste is pleasantly fruity, but fades away quickly.
This wine is made under the Buttafuoco dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC. It is a blend of Croatina, Barbera and Uva Rara. Continue reading “Buttafuoco 2017”
The colour is deep garnet. On the nose blood and alcohol (my blood type 😊). In the mouth tannins and alcohol. The aftertaste is very short (fortunately). This wine is barely drinkable, and I decided not to drink it.

The colour is pale yellow. On the nose tangerine, ananas, banana, jasmine. In the mouth fresh, but without much flavour. The aftertaste is watery and short.

The colour is deep ruby. On the nose cherries and lawn. In the mouth not much body, but a pleasantly sour and drying finish. The kind of wine that pairs well with greasy dishes. The aftertaste doesn’t last long.
Naigartèn is a natural wine made by Gradizzolo winery in Monteveglio on the hills near Bologna. Before release, it is aged 12 months in big oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. It is made with 100% Negrettino grapes. Continue reading “Naigartèn 2019”
The colour is deep ruby. On the nose cherries soaked in alcohol, with the addition of nutmeg, cinnamon, tobacco and cacao. In the mouth dense, rich and fruity. The aftertaste lasts for a while.

The colour is medium garnet. On the nose prune, undergrowth, mushrooms, liquorice and balsamic notes. In the mouth good structure, with a fruity drying finish. The aftertaste is medium long.
Brunello is a wine produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes. It must be aged for at least two years in oak barrels and a minimum of four months in bottle, but it cannot be marketed before January 1st of the year following the end of five years, calculated including the year of harvest. The colour is medium ruby. On the nose barnyard and vinaigrette typical of natural wines. With some air, some more pleasant aromas of black cherries, liquorice and chilli pepper appear, but you have to sniff carefully to find them. In the mouth light and acidic. The colour is pale ruby. On the nose at first a little bit of vinaigrette, typical of natural wines. With some air, this disturbing element disappears and way more pleasant aromas of sour and red cherries appear. In the mouth light, but well balanced.
