The colour is medium gold. On the nose dry fruits under spirit, toasted hazelnuts and honey. In the mouth smooth, dry and tasty. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and last for quite a while.

The colour is transparent with slightly greenish reflex. On the nose mainly anice and liquorice, which are clearly perceived also in the mouth. Very hot, due to the high alcohol content (72%). The aftertaste is savoury and pleasant. It last for a long time. When water is added (as it should), the colour becomes a cloudy milky white, the flavours more nuanced and the alcohol less prominent. The colour is medium gold, with a few fine, short-lasting bubbles. On the nose nuts, accompanied by a subtle aroma of apples and bananas. In the mouth a lively acidity, with the apples reappearing in the taste. The aftertaste is rather short.
This Champagne is made by Liébart-Régniet with 100% Petit Meslier grapes. All grapes come from a single parcel, from the 2019 harvest. Both fermentations, alcoholic and malolactic, have been carried out in oak barrels. Continue reading “L’Enclos”
The colour is deep garnet. On the nose black cherries, plum, tobacco and game. In the mouth elegant and well balanced, with a drying long aftertaste.

The colour is medium salmon, with very fine, medium-lasting bubbles. On the nose strawberries and raspberries. In the mouth elegant and well balanced. Very smooth. The aftertaste is medium long.
This prestigious champagne is made by Laurent-Perrier with 100% Pinot Noir grapes. It is a Brut with 9g of sugar per litre.

The colour is deep garnet. Complex nose of raw meat, plumbs, rosemary, burned wood, baking spices. In the mouth fresh, fine tannins, well balanced and savoury. The aftertaste last for quite a while.
It is a wine that with time keeps evolving: a delight to drink!

The colour is deep ruby. On the nose cassis, tomato sauce and herbs. In the mouth a bit too much acidity and tannins. The aftertaste is medium long, but not very tasty.

The colour is medium garnet. On the nose prune, undergrowth, mushrooms, liquorice and balsamic notes. In the mouth good structure, with a fruity drying finish. The aftertaste is medium long.
Brunello is a wine produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes. It must be aged for at least two years in oak barrels and a minimum of four months in bottle, but it cannot be marketed before January 1st of the year following the end of five years, calculated including the year of harvest. The colour is deep ruby. On the nose very fruity (well matured dark fruits), with some herbs. In the mouth rich and savoury, with a lot of sensations, probably the result of using a wide variety of grapes. The aftertaste is medium long.
